NIFT Entrance Examination — Conducted by NIFT
NIFT conducts a national entrance test for admission to its fashion design, technology and management programmes.
B.Des / B.F.Tech: Class 12 in any stream (PCM needed for B.F.Tech at some campuses). Check the NIFT prospectus for age limits and details.
Written test with Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT); selected candidates may face a Situation Test or Group Discussion/Interview depending on programme.
Design aptitude, creativity, quantitative ability, English communication, general knowledge and analytical ability.
Register on the NIFT admission website.
Fill in the application and pay the fee.
Download the admit card and appear in the written test and subsequent rounds.
NIFT Entrance score is accepted by NIFT campuses across India and other participating institutes.
